Field Day Returns to CPHS on May 9th

Field Day has been moved to this Thursday. The cost will be $2 per student. Students not attending will stay in class. It was postponed from last week due to weather conditions.

Student Council sponsor Frank Cooper believes that the purpose of Field Day is twofold.  “First, it provides a fun break for students working hard to complete their coursework at the end of the semester. Second, Field Day presents an opportunity for the Student Council to raise money for our GOLD WEEK Philanthropy, the Sand Springs Animal Shelter.”

There will be inflatables, a dunk tank, Cornhole, Spikeball, Soccer, Frisbee, music, and concessions. Concessions are an additional price. Also, Sandlot SnoCones will be on hand to sell snocones for $4.

The schedule for Field Day will be different this year due to the 9th grade having an assembly.

2nd hr-11th grade

3rd hr-10th grade

5th hr-9th grade

6th hr-12th grade

Students will purchase their tickets from the teacher whose class they will leave.
